Katie Van Atta has been a regular intermittent Physician Assistant at Camai since 2012. She grew up in a small town in Iowa, attended PA school in Chicago and postgraduate training in southern California, then accepted full time employment in Adak, never having been to Alaska. She later became a Certified Nurse-Midwife and now divides her time between catching babies in the MatSu Valley and doing everything but catching babies in Naknek.
