Originally from the heart of dairy land Wisconsin, Kelsey developed a deep appreciation for community and resilience growing up in a small town. She pursued her undergraduate studies in science and Spanish at the University of Wisconsin–Madison, where she laid the foundation for a career in healthcare with a strong commitment to service and rural health equity.
She later moved to North Carolina to attend Wake Forest School of Medicine’s PA program. Now still living in NC, she splits her time working in rural Alaska and western NC, providing care to communities that often have limited access to medical resources. She’s passionate about rural healthcare and loves the challenges and rewards that come with it.
When she’s not traveling for work, Kelsey enjoys hiking, snowboarding, and spending time with her family and dogs in the mountains of North Carolina.
